MPT SUPPORTS AN INNOVATIVE ORGANIZATION WORKING WITH BIRMINGHAM SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS
MPT champions the educational programs that help kids learn about raising fruits and vegetables, good nutrition and the culinary arts.
Good health begins with what’s on a dinner plate. MPT appreciates all that the Jones Valley Teaching Farm does with its hands-on learning opportunities.
Through the Good School Food program, students from schools across the region benefit from:
- Curriculum incorporated into local school education plans
- After-school programs that teach culinary arts, farming skills and STEM-related skills
- Group field trips to the farm
