SUPPORTING INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL NEEDS: CHAÎNE DE L’ESPOIR (CHAIN OF HOPE)

MPT HAS GLOBAL REACH AND LOOKS FOR WAYS TO GIVE BACK WHEREVER WE DO BUSINESS

From employees in the Luxembourg office, MPT learned about this remarkable organization that ensures disadvantaged children from impoverished countries get the medical attention they need.

Chaîne de l’Espoir Luxembourg, or Chain of Hope Luxembourg, became the sixth member of this European nonprofit organization in 2016.

Primarily treating children who need orthopedic surgeries and live in poverty-stricken countries, the group airlifts patients to Luxembourg for desperately needed treatment and surgery.

The work of the larger European organization includes:

  • Humanitarian aid
  • Hospital construction
  • In-country medical treatment
  • Airlifting disadvantaged children for treatment

KEY AREAS OF MPT GIVING:
HELPING HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS & CHILDREN

By helping this organization, MPT achieves two parts of its overall charitable mission:

  • Directly helping doctors and medical providers meet patient needs
  • Providing assistance to disadvantaged children

Funding a Western European cause shows the influence MPT is having around the globe, impacting communities where the company has influence—and even in countries beyond.

At our newest office in Sydney, Australia, one of our first objectives was to find charitable causes that MPT could support Down Under.

“The Chain of Hope flies children into Luxembourg to perform life-changing surgeries. To be able to partner with our local team in Luxembourg to do that is very gratifying.”
