Medical Properties Trust Promotes Two Senior Professionals

Birmingham, ALFebruary 15, 2018:  Medical Properties Trust, Inc. (NYSE: MPW) has announced the promotion of two senior professionals.

Rosa Hooper has been promoted to Vice President and Managing Director of Asset Management and Underwriting, and Charles Lambert has been promoted to Treasurer and Managing Director of Capital Markets.

Hooper, who joined MPT in 2009, has served as Managing Director of Asset Management since 2016, strengthening what has become the company’s largest department. She previously served as chief financial officer of a physician-owned hospital and as senior vice president in HealthSouth’s ambulatory division. A graduate of the University of Alabama where she earned a BS in Accounting, Hooper is also a CPA.

Lambert, who joined MPT in 2006, has served as Managing Director of Capital Markets since 2012, raising capital to support the company’s investment strategies and growth. He previously served as MPT’s Director of Finance and developed the company’s investor relations program. Prior to joining MPT, he served as assistant treasurer and director of investor relations for a publicly traded property and casualty insurance company.  Lambert earned a BA in Communications from Wake Forest University and an MBA from The Ohio State University with a concentration in finance and marketing.
